1. The service
VoicingMap is a collaborative map for trips, voice notes, stories and favourite spots. You can save pins, build plans, mention friends, and explore public content from the community.
We provide the service “as is” and work to keep it fast and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
2. Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Usernames must be 3–20 characters (letters, numbers, underscores). We may reclaim or rename accounts that impersonate others or violate these terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use VoicingMap.
3. Acceptable use
Do not post illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or harassing content. Do not spam, scam, or mislead others.
Do not upload content you do not have the right to share. Respect privacy — do not pin someone’s home, live location, or personal data without consent.
Do not attempt to hack, scrape at scale, bypass paywalls or moderation, or interfere with other users’ experience.
Business tools on the Explore map (shops, offers, hours, social links) require an active subscription and must contain accurate business information.
4. Your content and moderation
You keep ownership of the voice notes, photos, videos and text you post. By posting, you grant VoicingMap a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and display that content as needed to run the service.
Globally-visible pins require admin approval before appearing for everyone. Friends-only tools (stickers, mentions, favourites) do not need approval but still must follow these terms.
We may remove or hide content, limit accounts, or suspend access if we reasonably believe these terms were violated. For serious or repeated violations we may permanently ban accounts.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans unlock Explore business tools and related perks. Billing is handled securely by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel billing from your account billing portal.
Refunds are handled case-by-case under Stripe’s policies and applicable consumer law.
6. Intellectual property
The VoicingMap name, logo and interface are our property. Do not copy, resell, or misrepresent them.
Map data and geocoding may come from third-party providers (e.g. OpenStreetMap contributors, MapLibre) and are subject to their licences.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoicingMap is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Always verify locations, opening hours and safety conditions yourself before visiting a pinned place.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
